In order to use the Asana integration app Zendesk - Asana app on Zendesk respectively user need to create the Asana personal access token and Zendesk API access token in order to use the integration app.

Follow below steps on how to use the Zendesk - Asana integration app

1. Login to your Zendesk account with your login credentials

2 Create a new ticket in Zendesk or go to any existing ticket.

3. You will see the Zendesk - Asana Integration app on the right side of your ticket.

4. In the Zendesk - Asana integration app there are certain options we are providing.

    a. Create New Task

    b. Link Task.

    c. Notify Linked Tasks.

    d. Task Log

    e. Configure App

    f. Unlink Task.

The Zendesk-Asana app provides couple of options like Create Task, Link Task, Notify, Task Log & Configure App

Create Task

    The Create Task lets the user to create new task # in Asana from Zendesk, support agent can select type of project and workspace under which he/she want to create the task. Based on the project and workspace selection he will see all the Asana fields. The User can make the selection and click on Create button which would create task in Asana and then display the corresponding Asana task Id in the App.   

Link Task:  

    Using this button in Zendesk-Asana app support agent can link an existing Asana Task # to current Zendesk ticket. Zendesk-Asana app allows the user to create or link multiple tasks to one Zendesk ticket. 


    Notify button in Zendesk-Asana app allows the support agent to notify all the linked Asana tasks to current Zendesk ticket these will show up as comments in Asana. 

Task Log: 

    In the Zendesk-Asana app Task log modal shows you couple of details of task history including the comments history to current Zendesk ticket.  

Configure App

    This will help to map certain fields between Zendesk and Asana.

The Zendesk - Asana Integration app is limited to few Workspace and Projects in free version.
